Full-Time Positions:
Real Estate Loan Processor
UCU has an immediate opening for a qualified full-time Real Estate Loan Processor. The successful candidate will use interpersonal, analytical and communication skills to perform various tasks related to originating, closing and servicing residential mortgage loans. The incumbent will assist members with their inquiries, the loan application process, conduct loan interviews, obtain all supporting documentation, verify employment, verify assets and all liabilities, order credit reports, prepare qualifying worksheet, make recommendations and handle other real estate related duties as assigned. A broad knowledge of real estate products and all governing regulatory laws and guidelines is required. Three to four years of recent experience in processing real estate loan applications within a financial institution required, credit union experience is a plus. High school degree required. Interested candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. Work days: M-F, 8:45am-5:45pm (Some Saturdays required).
Part-Time Positions:
Teller (Part-time) - UCLA Ackerman Branch
University Credit Union is seeking a qualified individual for a part-time Teller position. The selected candidate must be able to work 12 - 18 hours per week. Provides counsel to the membership in regards to the various credit union services and investment vehicles available and assists members in the opening of new accounts. Financial institution or cashiering experience is preferred. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong problem solving skills, a high degree of professionalism and excellent public relations skills desired. UCLA student highly preferred. This position is at our campus branch located in the UCLA Student Union Building. Occasional Saturdays required.
