Long-term care costs are escalating and people of all ages are realizing that their money and assets can rapidly be depleted by a debilitating illness or injury. Still, many people fail to insure against this risk.

Learn about common misconceptions, such as "It will never happen to me" and "Medicare will pay for it." Find out the affects of the New Budget Reduction Act, which virtually eliminates all the past loopholes to impoverish yourself for the purpose of qualifying for medical care. The peril of relying on family members for care will also be explored.

Also, learn about the differences between the PERS Long Term Care Insurance versus other plans. Long term care insurance can be a critical part of your financial management, if you want to protect your assets and preserve your dignity when it comes to the kind of care you may receive.

Reservations: Space is limited. Reserve a spot now! Bring a co-worker, spouse or friend. Make your reservation request online (reservation made subject to available space) or call a UCU representative at (310) 477-6628, ext. 1.
