University Credit Union is pleased to offer PaySecure, a new service that provides Visa Check Card holders a method for using their existing debit card and PIN online to securely pay for online purchases.

How does PaySecureTM work?
Simply use your debit card at any participating online merchant that displays the PaySecure™ logo.
When it’s time to check out at a participating PaySecure™ merchant, enter your debit card information as you normally would. A graphical PIN pad will appear at the online merchant checkout for the secure entry of your PIN (the PIN pad numbers will be scrambled for added security). Enter each digit of your PIN on the PIN pad and click “Submit PIN.” Once your transaction has been successfully processed, the PIN pad disappears and you will be returned to the payment confirmation page.
What are the benefits of using PaySecure™?
- PaySecure™ through ACCEL/Exchange provides an extra layer of safety and security for your debit card
transaction; use of your debit card along with your PIN proves that you are making the purchase, since only
you know your PIN.
- Pay right at the merchant checkout using your existing debit card and PIN; there is no enrollment, sign-up or redirection to another Web site for payment.
- The merchant never obtains the PIN -- it is encrypted, transmitted to the payment processor, and serves to verify the identity of the card holder.
- PIN debit is a great budgeting tool since purchases are deducted from your account in near real-time just like at the retail point-of-sale so you can spend accordingly.
PaySecure is Ready to Use
There is nothing you need to do to use PaySecure with your University Credit Union Visa Check Card. When you visit a participating merchant, PaySecure will be another option for payment. For additional information, please see the PaySecure FAQ.
