Los Angeles, CA – University Credit Union in Los Angeles, CA was recently honored with a Category’s Best Award and a Diamond Award, which recognizes outstanding marketing and business development achievements in the credit union industry.
The awards were presented by the CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council, a national network comprised of over 1,200 credit union marketing and business development professionals. Awards are given in each of 35 categories ranging from advertising to community events and beyond.
University Credit Union won a Category’s Best Award for "Video (Non-Commercial) – Single" for its entry, "Proud Sponsor of the West Coast Conference" video. The video was produced on a short timeframe with a shoestring budget at the beginning of 2019. The purpose of the video was to introduce the partnership between University Credit Union and the West Coast Conference.
University Credit Union also won a Diamond Award for "Email - Single or Series" for its entry, "University Credit Union Member On-boarding". The series of trigger emails were created to better engage new member participation with University Credit Union.

CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council celebrated Diamond Awards Week by announcing winners in 35 categories through a series of daily virtual awards ceremonies. Turnout was outstanding for this year’s award competition with 1,295 entries submitted. Six credit unions won Best of Show Awards, 93 won Category’s Best Awards and 255 won Diamond Awards.
