UCU has partnered with other credit unions through the CO-OP Shared Branch Network. This means you may conduct transactions and obtain services at more than 6,800 Shared Branching locations nationwide just as if you were visiting UCU.
How do Shared Branches work?
Your membership and accounts remain at UCU, but you can access them through the Shared Branch location most convenient for you.
Through the Shared Branch Network* members can:
- Make deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments
- Transfer funds
- Get loan advances
- Purchase money orders and traveler’s checks (if available)
- Get balance inquiries and more!
What is required to conduct transactions at a Shared Branch?
When you visit a CO-OP Shared Branch location, you must provide the following information:
- Credit Union name : University Credit Union (CA)
- Your UCU Member Number (no suffixes)
(Where to find your member number)
- A current, VALID Government-issued Identification card
Find a location nearest you
Find a Shared Branching location near your home, work or favorite vacation spot using the shared branch locator. Just look for the CO-OP Shared Branch logo when you visit a branch.
After-Hours Call Center
Members will now have access to a Call Center Outlet with live agents who can handle basic phone transactions. This option will be available by calling the UCU general phone number after normal business hours.
Transactions available through the Call Center Outlet include:
- Balance inquiries
- Loan payments
- List of Last 10 transactions
Please note: The Call Center cannot process stop payments or reporting a lost or stolen ATM/VISA debit Card. You must contact UCU directly during normal business hours, or visit the contact us page to call and report lost or stolen Visa debit cards.
