- How does the voting work?
Every day from Saturday, March 21 to Friday, March 27, there will be a pop-up in the CashBack+ Pay app to vote between two brands that the member wants to see advance to the next round. At the end of that day, the winning brand will move on to the next round against a new matchup the following day.
- Who can vote in the matchups?
Members who have linked their credit union account to CashBack+ Pay will be able to vote in the daily matchup. A member can only vote once per daily matchup.
- Do I have to make a purchase to vote?
No, you do not have to make a purchase to vote. But for the brands that are in that day’s matchup, they will be boosted at 15% cash back for that day, so don’t miss out on bonus cash back!
- How does the boosted cash back work?
Every day there is a matchup between two brands. Both of those brands will be boosted at 15% cash back for that day. The next day, there will be a new matchup between the winning brand from the previous day and a new brand - both of those brands will be boosted at 15% cash back for that day. This continues until the final day, March 28th, which is the Champion’s Bonus Day where the winning brand in the Payoffs will be 30% cash back for the day.
- How is the winner chosen?
By you and your fellow members voting! After the 7th matchup on Friday, March 27th, the winning brand will be boosted to 30% cash back on Saturday, March 28th.
- Are there limits on purchases with bonus cash back?
Yes, for any purchase that is made on a brand that has boosted cash back, there is a $100 purchase limit to earn the boosted cash back, limit 1 per member. Any additional purchases that exceed the limit on that brand will be at the current non-promotional rate cash back amount. During the matchup days where there are 2 brands at 15% cash back, a member is able to make up to a $100 purchase at both brands, meaning up to $100 to Brand A at 15% cash back and up to $100 to Brand B at 15% cash back.
