Since 1951, University Credit Union has been an active partner of the university community. From the early days, when a group of pioneering and passionate UCLA team members created an alternative to for-profit banks, to now where we strive to support almost every area of our University partners’ lives. Exactly who is eligible? Here's a complete list:

 

  • Students, employees, faculty, and alumni of any university, college, or other higher learning institution in Southern California.* This includes (but isn't limited to) all University of California schools (UC Berkeley, UC Davis, UC Irvine, UCLA, UCLA Extension, UC Merced, UC Riverside, UC San Diego, UC San Francisco, UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz), Loyola Marymount University, Pepperdine University, Loyola Law School, Saint Mary's College, Mount St. Mary’s University, Santa Clara University, Chabot College and Las Positas College, Otis College of Art and Design.
  • Students, employees, faculty, and alumni of the California member universities of the West Coast Conference, which includes Santa Clara University, University of San Francisco, Saint Mary’s College, Loyola Marymount University, Pepperdine University, University of the Pacific and University of San Diego.
  • Students, employees, faculty, and alumni of the universities of The Big West, which includes California Polytechnic State University, California State University, Bakersfield, California State University, Fullerton, California State University, Northridge, University of Hawaii, California State University, Long Beach, UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, UC San Diego, and UC Santa Barbara.

  • Students, employees, faculty, and alumni of the universities of the Western Athletic Conference, which includes Abilene Christian University, California Baptist University, Grand Canyon University, Seattle University, Southern Utah University, Stephen F. Austin State University, Tarleton State University, University of Texas at Arlington, University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, Utah Tech University, and Utah Valley University.

  • Students, employees, faculty, and alumni of the universities of the Southland Conference, which includes Houston Christian University, University of the Incarnate Word, Lamar University, McNeese State University, University of New Orleans, Nicholls State University, Northwestern State University, Southeastern Louisiana University, Texas A&M University–Commerce, and Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi.
  • Students, employees, faculty, and alumni of Georgia Tech University.
  • Students, employees, faculty, and alumni of the University of Texas at Arlington.
  • J. Paul Getty Trust employees, volunteers and individuals working at any Getty location.
  • West Los Angeles VA Medical Center employees.
  • Employees of CBS Broadcasting Inc, Sony Records, Radford Studio Center, and their affiliates. All immediate family members of employees are eligible to join as well.
  • Immediate family members of a current member who joined as an employee, student or alumni of the above university or employer groups. Immediate family members1 include parents, step-parents, grandparents, husband, wife, children, step-children, grandchildren, brothers, and sisters.
  • Permanent members of a household of a current member who joined as an employee, student or alumni of the above university or employer groups.
  • Retirees of any of the employer groups above.
  • Any member in good standing leaving the field of membership as herein defined may retain his/her membership in the Credit Union.
  • Employees of University Credit Union
