Know the signs: stop the threat

UCU will never call, email, or the otherwise contact you and ask for any personal information. If you are uncomfortable with any call you receive regarding your UCU account, please hang up and call UCU at 800.UCU.4510 to verify if the call came from us.
  • Fraudsters may pose as UCU team members, attempting to obtain sensitive information from our member-owners. Please know that UCU will never call, text, or email you asking for your card number, PIN, or digital banking credentials.
  • Scammers may call to confirm transactions or ask you to provide a one-time passcode. If you receive a suspicious call from someone claiming to be from UCU, immediately hang up and call us at 800.UCU.4510 to verify.
  • In digital banking, enable alerts for any unusual activity such as unfamiliar log ins and balance changes. If you notice suspicious activity, report it to us immediately.
  • If you notice an unauthorized change to the phone number or email address on your digital banking account, let us know immediately by calling us at 800.UCU.4510.
